Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, but in truth it is a city of freedom. Some entrepreneurs use this freedom and their relentless creativity to come up with innovative and social ideas to make the city a better place to live in. The City of Amsterdam hosts a yearly startup competition with €400K of grants available.

 

My role

 

Twice a year I work as the event moderator of this pitch competition for local Dutch social entrepreneurs. Great to see what Amsterdam is doing to stimulate social innovation!
